Control Panel Design
Our industrial control panel design services entail a thorough evaluation of your specifications to ensure you receive a solution with the necessary level of functionality and reliability. When designing an industrial control panel, we account for every detail, including install environment, heat calculations, electrical requirements, sizing, and any existing controls equipment. Before moving to production, each panel design is 3D modeled in AutoCAD and reviewed by senior-level engineers to ensure quality and compliance with UL, NEC, CE, and CSA standards.
Our team of 50+ hardware and software engineers have hundreds of combined years of experience in the design and implementation of industrial control systems. Our engineering services include electrical and mechanical design, PLC and HMI programming, documentation, on-site or remote commissioning, and post-project support. Our documentation capabilities include developing panel layout drawings, wiring schematics, functional diagrams, O&M manuals, I/O lists, software design documents, and FDA level drawings.
Control Panel Build
Our team of 50+ highly skilled technicians build over 3,000 industrial control panels per year out of our 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space. To deliver consistent quality and improve our control panel build times, our production space is outfitted with specialized tooling, including our automated CNC enclosure mill and engraving machine. We also utilize properly sized wire duct and adhere device and wire labels in visible locations to ensure clean and organized wiring. Every control panel we build is thoroughly tested for complete functionality and quality inspected.
UL Certified Control Panel Shop
Process Solutions is a UL certified control panel shop specializing in the design and build of UL 508A-listed industrial control panels, as well as UL 698A, 1203, and 1604 control panels designated for hazardous locations. Process Solutions is audited by UL multiple times per year based on the number of panels we build to ensure compliance.
Custom Enclosure & Panel Cutouts
Our automated enclosure and panel mill provides quick, clean and precise cutouts of any shape or size. Cutouts can be made in mild and stainless steel, plastic, and fiberglass. There are no minimum order requirements and our mill can accommodate enclosure dimensions up to 88″ x 88″ x 94″. Quick lead times on enclosure and panel milling available.
OEM & Build-To-Print Control Panel Manufacturing
Building custom or pre-designed control panels is a particular specialty of ours. Our build-to-print industrial control panel services include engineer-led design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and to make recommendations for improved cost and manufacturing efficiency. We also provide parts purchasing, control panel manufacturing, factory acceptance testing, and commissioning.
