December 15, 2017 – Stanwood, Wash. – Process Solutions employees recently enjoyed a fun-filled week of darts, ping pong, and cornhole tournaments, as well as a chance to give to charity through a company-wide toy drive, cash donations, and a charity Blackjack tournament. The week was then capped off with the biggest holiday celebration in company history.
The company holiday Party was held at Process Solutions’ headquarters in Stanwood Washington and was open to all of the company’s 100+ employees and their families. Attendees received a buffet-style Italian dinner served by local chef Maria Sacapano-Smith and her crew, along with chances to win 34 different raffle prizes, including trips, power tools, miscellaneous gift cards, and various electronics. The party also entailed a professional karaoke stage from Conway Boxcar, a winter wonderland themed photo booth, and numerous games, such as giant Jenga, darts, ping pong, and cornhole.
Continuing with the annual company holiday party tradition of donating money to the Stanwood Food Bank, Process Solutions employees pooled together an outstanding $6,830. The donations were then combined with the proceeds from the Charity Blackjack Tournament, along with auction money that was received in exchange for 3 Seahawks tickets. In the end, Process Solutions employees donated a total of $7,875. The donations did not stop there, however, as Process Solutions President Todd Busby announced the company would match nearly dollar for dollar the employees’ donation, bringing the total offering to a staggering $14,705 – more than double the total amount that was donated in 2016.
In addition to monetary donations, Process Solutions employees also gave back to the community by donating new, unused children’s toys to the Stanwood Caring Place. Over the course of a week, employees filled a 30 cubic feet box to the brim with toys and games for children of all ages and hand delivered them to the Caring Place staff. Upon delivering the toys, Process Solutions employees were greeted with warm hugs of gratitude and heard stories of how their generosity would make a positive difference in the lives of children across the Stanwood Community.
As if the night was not already extraordinary enough, President Todd Busby also announced during the party that each employee will receive one additional PTO day. This would not be just a regular PTO day though, as each employee would be required to spend at least 4 hours of that time carrying out an act of community service of the employee’s choosing. The participating employee will then provide a photo of themselves serving the community to be displayed on a poster in the Process Solutions Café.
